2023 APWA AWARDS NOMINATION FORMS 

Please consider submitting an application and/or nomination for the 2023 Chapter Awards and Recognition Program with the Monterey Bay Chapter of the APWA! 

Each year our Chapter recognizes our outstanding people and projects at our general meeting in January. Our Chapter’s success rests with its members and agencies in our three-county area, and – with your help – we look forward to recognizing those outstanding people and projects who have done amazing jobs this past year.

This year we will be presenting the following awards:

• PUBLIC WORKS PERSON OF THE YEAR: This nomination should be used to recognize a person of exceptional ability and accomplishment in the area of Public Works for the 2022 calendar year.
• PUBLIC WORKS YOUNG PROFESSIONAL OF THE YEAR: This nomination should be used to recognize a young professional (YP) of exceptional ability and accomplishment in the area of Public Works for the 2022 calendar year.  
• PUBLIC WORKS ADMINISTRATIVE PERSON OF THE YEAR: This nomination should be used to recognize a person of exceptional administrative ability and accomplishment for the 2022 calendar year.  
• PUBLIC WORKS PROJECTS OF THE YEAR (multiple categories): The purpose of APWA Awards is to recognize the excellent public works projects and programs that take place in the Monterey Bay area. Project must be substantially completed between January 1, 2021 and December 31, 2022.These awards honor the partnership between the managing agency, the consultant/architect/engineer, the contractor, the construction manager, and the community who, working together, complete the public works projects that support our community.

Please read the attached forms, and the awards criteria attached thereto, for more information on our Chapter Awards and Recognition Program. Forms are provided for you to submit an application/nomination for each award.
